COMPLIANT SCROLL COMPRESSOR  The most expensive component of any condensing unit is the compressor.  Rheem is the only manufacturer to install Copeland(R) Compliant Scroll Compressors in its entire residential air conditioning line.  Compliant Scroll Compressors are proven to be the preferred and most reliable compressors in the industry. STEEL CABINET  The wraparound galvanized steel cabinet protects the fins on the condensing coil from the yard hazards and extreme weather.  The cabinet is powder coat painted to further resist corrosion and provide an enhanced longer lasting appearance. BASE PAN  One-piece, painted drawn base pan elevates the coil off the pan and the pan off the pad, minimizing corrosion and reducing noise and vibration. PROTECTIVE CONTROLS  High and low perssure controls (standard on high efficiency models) provide protection for the Scroll Compressor against the damaging pressure extremes. OUTDOOR COIL  Wraparound outdoor coil is constructed of copper tubing and aluminum fins for better air flow transfer to reduce energy consumption. EASY ACCESS PANEL  Removing one service panel gains access to the compressor and control box.  This easy access makes serviceability much easier and less expensive. GRILLE / FAN MOTOR MOUNT  This patented motor mount helps protect the fan motor from the elements for longer life.  The unique grille pattern allows air to be blown up and away from shrubbery.  The grille and motor mount design also helps reduce vibration and noise.
